"I...The mighty Nyla...Greatest of assassins will now strike...RARRRRRWWWWWW" Nyla jumped from the grass with a smile. landed and then rolled with a smirk. "Nyla come on and have some berries." Her father called. Nyla padded over. She was traveling Sinnoh with her family for the first time. She had hatched just last season. She smiled and gobbled down the Oran berries. "So, are you excited?" Her father said. "For what?" Nyla asked. "New trainers in Twin Leaf Town, they'll be passing through here soon." Nyla laughed "No trainer can tame me!!!" She said. Her father chuckled. "What's so funny dad?" She asked. "I said the same thing when I was a cub." The luxray tells his daughter. "Until I met my trainer, he was my best friend..." He said. "So what happened?" "We grew apart...I wanted to see the world.." He replied. "Oh...So there are nice people." He nodded yes, there are." He said. Nyla grinned "Then maybe someday I'll let a trainer catch me." She said. "Now go get some rest Nyla dear, it's your nap time." Nyla groaned and walked over to a shade spot. She curled up and her eyes slowly closed the young shinx fell into a light slumber.

Nyla jumped up. "Huh? What's going on?" She said. "Nyla, stay back!!!!!" Her father's voice came. Nyla ran over anyways "Dad what's goin..." Nyla stopped, she was facing a Golem. "On...." "NYLA! GO!" Her father ordered as hefought off the Pokemon. She noticed the trainer controlling it. Nyla quickly ran. "Help help!!" She called, to anyone who would listen but there was noone around. Nyla continued to run when she noticed a shadow. A Gravler was there as well and just as it was about to crush Nyla, "NYLA!" Her father tackled her out of the way, the Gravler landing on him instead. "DAD!!!!" Nyla screamed. Her father fell limp. "Yes! A Luxray!! Go Pokeball!!!" The trainer shouted. Nyla watched her father be dragged in by a red light and tears came into her eyes. "Daddy!!" She screamed. The trainer walked off, leaving Nyla all alone. She started to cry. "Daddy no..." She mumbled as she slumped into the spot where her father was just moment ago.

Nyla stayed there for quite a while, just crying. She saw a shadow come over her and snarled, lightning forming around her. "Get away!!" "Hey hey whoa whoa sweetheart...What's the deal?" A voice said. Nyla looked up. A Starly and a Piplup stood before her with smiles, a young boy behind them. "Sorry for the scare, I'm Napoleon this is Star." Star waved her wing "Sup." The piplup smiled weakly "Our trainer noticed you and would like to catch you." "No way! Trainers are bad!!" Nyla hissed. Star glared "Deryl is awesome! Don't make me punch you." "Electricity beats lightning birdie!!" Nyla replied. "How about this..We battle you, if we win You travel with us.." "I never back down from a challenge...Alright.." Nyla said.
